Very strange though because it wasn't immediate and in an attempt to correct, I restarted a couple of times and the time that it took to lock up was different and Updated a day or two ago and no keyboard or mouse will work.   1. I have had it for a year and a half and unfortunately the warranty is only one year (had it already fixed once when still under warranty).

  6. I've resolved this issue previously by plugging in an external mouse then going to the Control Panel then to Mouse Settings then Re-enabling the Mouse Pad and Mouse Pad Software and
