I've never heard of audioengine. unfortunately i purchased one creative 5.1 home theatre system.it is having three cables. I am running two monitors off it -an old CRT monitor and a Samsung 932B flat screen. There is much pseudo science and charlatanry in the hi-fi world. weblink
