32 Bit External HD On A 64 Bit Os?

Does anybody here have any suggestions on how to get a 32 bit external hard drive to work on a 64 bit os? The computer is messed up so I do not have access to Windows to check it with systeminfo. Please help me out. So I copy everything over to backup and i store the backup at another house and then I start using the main: deleting and adding/editing files. Source
