I have contacted ASUS support, but they seem to be suggesting only the standard fixes, which I have already tried. You must have gotten a lemon. We also provide an extensive Windows 7 tutorial section that covers a wide range of tips and tricks. After i lapped new thermal paste and put washers under the screws it made the block to the gpu tight again and no more issues.

[HD 6970] Display driver crashing

I reflashed my first bios back to its original state to function again. This issue only started about 2 or 3 days ago and I haven't changed anything that could make this happen. I don't know what is wrong. I have also made sure that it is not over heating by checking its temp which rarely goes over about 50C when it crashes.

I just noticed however that I am getting a blue screen error whenever my graphics card crashes. I always play on medium or sometimes high on those games, but if this issue appears I turn the settings to low, but the game crashes nonetheless.If anyone had this problem You can not post a blank message. I don't know if there is any other type of driver sweeper out there.
