BSOD While Standby And/or Using Chrome

When you use those, do the same problems occur? I opened 10 tabs in firefox and loaded Skyrim with mods to push my ram usage over 4gb (as I have 8gb installed 2x4), and nothing happened. Is there a program I can run to stress the ram and see if I broke it somehow?
